Weegee, as in "Ouija"; the pseudonym for an early Usher Fellig and later Arthur Fellig. The only photographer I've ever had a true crush on. How could I not swoon over a man with a full-on darkroom in his trunk and a police shortwave radio on his dash? The precedent to the out-of-control paparazzi & tabloids today, Weegee would beat police to crime scenes and capture shots like the ones below. Car accidents, murders, streetlife, infedility, blood & strife.
