The Philadelphia Story

One of my favorite movies of all time, The Philadelphia Story, can be seen in full on Youtube. The movie is divided into 11 parts, but its worth anyone's while. I love, love, LOVE Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant is so charming as CK Dexter Haven.

Below, is Part 1/11 of the film. Parts 2-11 could easily be found under "Related..." on the right hand side on Youtube's page- just scroll through.

Also, I recently bought another Taschen book on Katharine. Its mainly photos. Katharine has always been lovely, no matter what age- she seems to have always kept her quality of presence in tact. No doubt, she is probably the only ideal lady of Hollywood, and even in today's world there doesn't seem to be anyone like her. Classy, down-to-earth, outspoken, rebellious in her own way, beautiful and talented.

p.s. the past couple of days have been crazy, hectic and completely off-balance. one day is horrible, the next is fun, gratifying, BUSY and time consuming. not to mention all of the projects matt and I have going on- although, i really am excited for them. the photo shoot with the library was fun, but my emotions ultimately got the best of me. i found myself flustered during the longest 2 hours of my life. the images turned out decent- however, i'm certain they weren't my best body of work. anyway, cheers. - aa

aww the first lady of cinema. I love philadelphia story! And her accent is so cute. Cate Blanchett did a knocking performance as Kate in the Aviator too.

p.s. a library photo-shoot? I'm curious.
